People at risk, risk factors and prevention of male sexual dysfunction

All men are likely to experience a decline in their sexual satisfaction during their lifetime as a result of any of the difficulties described in this sheet. The men most at risk are:

– Men taking medication,

– Sedentary men (no physical exercise),

– Men consuming tobacco (catastrophic for erection), excessive alcohol or other drugs.

– Men with diabetes,

– Men suffering from a neurological disease,

– Men suffering from excess cholesterol,

– Men with high blood pressure,

– Men who have suffered an accident in the small pelvis.

– Older men, because they are more at risk of having diseases or drugs, it is not the age itself which is harmful.

– Men with a difficult relationship,

– Men lacking self-confidence,

– Men suffering from anxiety or depression,

– Men with an unbalanced diet (few fruits and vegetables, too much fat and sugar),

– Men who are overweight or obese.
