Halloween: Ngày các vị thánh: Tiệc tại gia: Lễ hội hóa trang

On the night of October 31 to November 1, the most supernatural holiday of Halloween is celebrated. Exactly 120 years ago, in 1895, a tradition arose in Scotland to dress this night in carnival costumes and decorate houses with mystical attributes. Until the day when witches and zombies appear on the streets, there is nothing left! Planning to have a “scary” home masquerade? Take note of the interior design tips from the architect, designer of the show “For Rent! Renovated! ” on the channel “Domashny” by Anastasia Mironova.

To hide cute light wallpapers and girly furniture, you need black or dark purple fabric, and if you don’t want to spend money, then the simplest old tulle painted in black will do. Drape the fabric over the walls and, if desired, the ceiling, securing the fabric to the fixtures. And do not forget about the curtains, hide them too, and under them hang a New Year’s glowing garland – behind a dark fabric it will look more muted and frightening. And on top, using a thin pin, attach bats and spiders cut from cardboard or black paper.

Take red gouache, it is rather dense, but at the same time it is easily washed off with water, and leave “bloody” handprints on the tiles in the bathroom. This will make your guests nervous! And to heighten the effect, write the ominous inscription on the mirror with the same paint.

To create a sinister atmosphere in your home, decorate lamps and chandeliers. To do this, you can wrap them in red cloth or clear color mockup film, which is sold at any stationery store. Spotlights-spotlights are easy to cover with foil, cutting out circles in shape. You can also make a hole in the middle of the film and thread a paper spider through it.

Inflate the balloon, wrap it with thread in a chaotic manner, generously spread it with PVA glue and let it dry. Then pierce the ball with a needle and cut it in half. You will have two original decorative dishes.

In addition to the traditional glowing pumpkin head, which usually decorates the table, this vegetable can be used to make dishes for sweets or a plate. And if you print several pictures of pumpkins, cut them along the contour and stick them on cardboard, you get coasters for the devices.

Ghosts floating around the house look especially impressive. To create these, you will need a large amount of gauze or plain white cloth. Immerse the gauze in a solution of PVA glue mixed with water, inflate the balloon and, while wet, place the gauze on the balloon. Spread it out in the shape of a ghost and leave to dry completely. Then blow off the ball, and on the surface of the gauze, draw with a black marker the eyes and mouth of the ghost. Such ghosts can be hung around the house by attaching them to chandeliers, lamps, doors and hangers.

Bored with Jack’s traditional pumpkin lamp? Transform the vegetable into an evil spider. To do this, paint the pumpkin with black acrylic paint, and then paint the mouth and eyes on it. Make legs out of wire and wrap them with black knitting threads, insert into the pumpkin. Such a “spider” can be hung under a chandelier, which, by the way, can be easily turned into a cocoon by randomly wrapping it with white threads.

Do you want to scare passers-by? Take black cardboard or thick paper, cut out bats, skulls, a silhouette of a witch in a huge cap and secure the models with tape on the frames. With the onset of darkness, when the New Year’s garland flickers, scary pictures will play on your windows.

Planning to throw an American-style party and serve punch in oversized cups to your guests? Make it scary tasty! Pour water into a rubber glove and freeze it. When the liquid has solidified, remove the glove and place the ice in the shape of a hand in the bowl of red punch. The drink will not be for the faint of heart!

Ordinary gauze is also suitable for interior decoration. Cut a piece of a suitable size and start pulling it out, you can even tear it in places. Such a web looks best when it hangs loose. And if you want to wrap lamps or interior little things in cobwebs, it is better to take a couple of spools of thin thread. To give them rigidity, you can pre-saturate them with PVA glue.

Candles with blood look very impressive in the interior. Take regular white candles and one red wax candle. Melt the red wax, just drip it onto a white candle, and the blood lights are ready. Just keep them away from your webs and other combustible materials.
