These four exercises will only take a few minutes to complete. But if you make them a daily ritual, they are able to tighten the skin and restore a beautiful oval of the face without surgical intervention.

The idea of ​​this set of exercises came up with the Japanese Fumiko Takatsu. “If I train the muscles of the body every day in yoga classes, then why don’t I train the muscles of the face?” Takatsu says.

To perform these exercises, you do not need a mat, special clothing or knowledge of complex asanas. All it takes is a clean face, a mirror, and a few minutes alone. How it works? Exactly the same as during classical yoga. We knead and tense the muscles to tighten them and provide a clear line, not a blurry silhouette. Takatsu assures: “I started doing this gymnastics after an injury when my face became asymmetrical. A few months later, I saw myself in the mirror before the disaster. Wrinkles were smoothed out, the oval of the face tightened.

Tip: Do these “asanas” every evening after cleansing, but before applying serum and cream. So you warm up the skin and it will better perceive the caring components in the products.

1. Trán mịn

The exercise will relax the muscles on the forehead and relieve tension, thereby preventing the appearance of wrinkles.

Both hands clench into fists. Place the knuckles of your index and middle fingers in the center of your forehead and apply pressure. Without releasing pressure, spread your fists to your temples. Press lightly on your temples with your knuckles. Repeat four times.

2. Tighten your neck

The exercise will prevent the appearance of a double chin and the loss of clear facial contours.

Fold your lips into a tube, then pull them to the right. Feel the stretch in your left cheek. Turn your head to the right, raising your chin 45 degrees. Feel the stretch on the left side of your neck. Hold the pose for three seconds. Repeat. Then do the same on the left side.

3. Face lift

The exercise will smooth out the nasolabial folds.

Place your palms on your temples. Slightly pressing on them, move your palms up, tightening the skin of your face. Open your mouth, lips should be in the shape of the letter «O». Then open your mouth as wide as possible, hold for five seconds. Repeat the exercise two more times.

4. Pull up the eyelids

The exercise fights the nasolabial folds and lifts the sagging skin of the eyelids.

Drop your shoulders. Stretch your right hand up, and then place your fingertips on your left temple. The ring finger should be at the tip of the eyebrow, and the index finger should be at the temple itself. Gently stretch the skin, pulling it up. Rest your head on your right shoulder, do not bend your back. Hold this pose for a few seconds, breathing slowly through your mouth. Repeat the same with the left hand. Repeat this exercise again.
